If you are keen shoppers like us girls at head office, then you would of already got down to Mary Portas and Grazia magazines Living & Giving Shop in Westfield London!

Last week was the finish of the amazing second hand shop, which fashion savvys gave unwanted but not neglected products to the shop where all the money raised is going to three key national charities – Save The Children, Mind and Trees for Cities!

We couldn’t’ help but get involved and we donated 6 of our stunning Treasure me corsets and underbust corsets, which are in electric blue rich satin with delicate eye lash lace and black ribbon detailing.

Money raised at Mary’s Living & Giving shop went a long way with only spending

£5 = giving a family a mosquito net to sleep under and stop them catching deadly malaria.

£30 = a life-saving water filter.

£100 = a kit of vital medical supplies for a clinic in one of the world’s poorest communities.

Yesterday we had the Spring/Summer 2010 fashion shoot for our lingerie and swimwear. It has been in the making for a few months now with a lot of attention to detail. We hired out a magnificent millionaires home in a top-secret location, with an ultra modern interior! We kept it simple with great lighting and minimal props.

The whole day was a world wind, as things were to a tight schedule. The models were fantastic and oozed confidence. The finished campaigns images that wont be out till next summer looked absolutely fabulous… so watch this safe!!

Pacha is the world famous clubbing franchise with music, clothes & most off all the unforgettable clubs! With their headquarters in Ibiza- possibly the best holiday destination ever! They are at the top of the game for all the dance lovers out there.

So if any of you are party people and heading to the Island of fun this Summer, you know what to wear….

Playful Promises featured in last Sundays News of The Worlds, Fabulous magazine!

The shoot was styled by a very talented Tracey Le Sayer, and made our ever so popular Retro Bow swimsuit look even more amazing on a very leggy model!

The Black one-piece swimsuit with front opening and bagged out bow detail is a swimsuit designed for posing in!  It’s a steal at only £32 and also comes in a vibrant paradise pink!

Yes we are very excited (and slightly  hung over) after celebrating our win last night for the UK Fashion Exports Awards 2009 for best Lingerie & Beachwear fashion!

The event itself was amazing and started with sipping champagne cocktails and indulging on goats cheese, walnuts and beetroot wrap for starters, with duck, cabbage and mash potato for main course and berries in three ways sorbet, yoghurt and tart for desert!

We then rubbed shoulders with Joanna Lumley and mixed with fellow nominees Myla and Pistol Panties… but the most exciting part of the day for Playful Promises has to be when Emma Parker director and creator of Playful promises was presented with the award by Royal Princess Anne. WOW!

The night came to an end after all the girls from head Office headed home after a successful day with a bottle of Moet, the award and a prize of a stand at Prêt à Porter in Paris this September.

Underlines Magazine is the premier trade publication for professionals in intimate apparel, swimwear, nightwear and legwear and playful Promises features in it not once but twice!!

It has a gorgeous picture of our fashion models at Alternative Fashion Week in March when we showcased our up and coming collection Shanghai Boudoir.

Also we featured on page 47 under Bestsellers AW2009/2010 with our fabulous Black Orchid set which is inspired by the confident woman with a Black satin push-up bra with black tuxedo collar and button detail and a Black satin waspie with front button fastening, pocket embellishment and back waistcoat detail!
