Everything is hand selected by the Honeybirdette buyers and they have a gorgeous shop to go with their internet site where everything can be gift wrapped.

They also have a deviously naughty magazine, which is a pleasure to read! But what the girls in head office are in giggles over is a Honey Birdette Parties! Honey’s parties consist of a Honeylician welcoming you to their store or bringing the parlour to your home, where you can shop, dress up and play games…. sounds like the best girl’s night in to us!!

Playful promises showcased their highly anticipated A/W 09 collection ‘Shanghai Boudoir’ at Alternative Fashion week and had a Press and Buyers Party afterwards to showcase the designs. The collection is inspired by the seductive and sophisticated romance of 1920’s Shanghai, which reflects the explosion of creativity within the decadence of this sparkling city.

These two stunning pieces were designed by director Emma Parker and were lovingly made in London as specially created showpieces.

Hair was styled by award winning avant-garde hairdresser Robert Masciave and make up created by Cheyenne Raymond.

A red flirty garter dress with double ruffle detail from the Nu Nu Rouge range was a showstopper.

Playful Promises then celebrated at the Brickhouse in the heart of East London- Brick Lane, with a Press and Buyers Party! Entertainment was from the very talented and beautiful jazz songbirds Twin and Tonic who sang old swing numbers and drinks were flowing with Singapore Sling cocktails courtesy of Martin Miller’s Gin.The event was well received with fantastic feedback from everyone who attended.
